Mark Rodeffer is vice chair of the Sierra Club DC Chapter. He led the Sierra Club’s effort to pass the Clean Energy DC Omnibus Act of 2018 in the DC Council. He’s now co-chair of Beyond Gas DC, where he advocates for transitioning buildings from fossil fuel combustion to clean energy systems using solar energy and heat pumps. He’s also the chair of the Sierra Club DC Chapter’s Political Committee, which works to elect environmental allies to public office.
